I start by placing random points within a rectangle; then I used the voronoi grasshopper component to generate the curves.

I grouped the interior curves separately from the exterior curves. The subtraction and unit z components are used to move these curves...

The Edge Surface component is used to create a surface between the interior and exterior curves.

Once the surfaces are created the components are baked.

A single unit at a time runs through the kangaroo physics to create a curved surface.

This was repeated for every unit and assembled to create the final form.

Once completely assembled the edges were trim to resemble the Façade of Toyo Ito's Metropolitan Opera House.
